A dialogue between the artistic practices of Nadia Barkate and Fátima Moreno and the collections of the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo and the ARCO Foundation, approaching drawing not merely as a technique, but as a form of thought, action and engagement with space.
Structured around a film trilogy produced between 2018 and 2025 in Spain and Morocco, this exhibition broadens the interpretative framework of Adrian Schindler’s work, which forms part of the CA2M Museum Collection.
A conversation between the production of artist Antonio Ballester Moreno —created in collaboration with families and students from CEIP Federico García Lorca in Móstoles— and 29 works by other creators belonging to the Dos de Mayo Art Centre Museum Collection.
The Museo CA2M presents an exhibition focusing on the presence of video in its collections: a space to discover the line, technique and creative processes that shape the language of animation and its evolution within contemporary art, inviting visitors to reflect on the moving image from different perspectives and highlighting the potential of the audiovisual medium as a space for artistic experimentation.
This exhibition—the first monograph dedicated to Dorothy Iannone at a Spanish institution, curated by Tania Pardo—takes its title from the spirit of perseverance and continuity with which the artist approached life and art, and also from her passionate and generous approach to creation. The expression “over and over again” embodies Iannone’s lifelong conception of her work as the draft of a total work. The exhibition itinerary is organised around six thematic sections that invite viewers to explore her creative universe.
This audiovisual installation in the Museo CA2M Collection raises a hybrid between theatrical representation, animation and sound, it reflects on the power of language and voice as a social tool in order to reflect on the power of language and the voice as a social tool. An immersive experience in which visitors become part of this theatrical performance.
