10 April 2026 .- Tomorrow, Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M) of the Community of Madrid will inaugurate Sky and Earth, an exhibition by the Madrid-based artist Antonio Ballester Moreno, which will remain open until the end of the summer and can be visited free of charge.
Ballester Moreno himself is the curator of this exhibition, establishing a dialogue between his own work—developed in collaboration with families and pupils from CEIP Federico García Lorca in Móstoles—and works by other artists from the Museo CA2M collection.
The exhibition extends the artist’s interest in art as an educational tool, bringing together two seemingly disparate perspectives through the juxtaposition of amateur works made from modest materials such as cardboard and works by established artists.
The exhibition seeks to connect the external and the internal by exploring how landscape has historically been understood as a construct that extends beyond the aesthetic realm and encompasses geological, anthropological and social dimensions.
Antonio Ballester Moreno (Madrid, 1977) conceives of art as a creative process, drawing on popular knowledge and experiential learning. His works form part of the collections of Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Banco de España, MUSAC, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León and TBA21.
