This is an investigation activity around the possibilities understanding a collection as a discursive devise. During the four sessions that last the workshop, we will work around subjects related to identity; the image capacity, not only to create reality, but also to make sense of the real; the frameworks of meanings that surround and determine objects and bodies; the relation of art and ideology; and the link between collection, memories and collective imagination. Three of the session will be held at the school centers, and one session will take place in CA2M, where the collection will be considered as a space for fieldwork.
Maximum 30 students per session
1st Session: Collector (re) recreating identities
At the school center. 2 hours.
2nd Session: Memories, collections, identities
At the school center. 2 hours.
3rd Session: Fieldwork: Case 1. The CA2M Collection
At CA2M. 3 hours.
4th Session: Collectibles
At the school centers. 2 hours.
