After visiting the exhibition, students will analyze and discuss about topics previously commented during the visit. To observe and think about last decades art can trigger debates with pupils concerning the world around us and it can help us to shed a creative look to the world and, therefore to transform it. After the visit, it will take place the workshop.

Ángeles Oliva and Toña Medina

AUDIOGRAPHIES

 

Ángeles Oliva and Toña Medina have performed a sound tour of the exhibition Collection III. Starting from the traditional idea of audio guides, they have explored new format possibilities thus creating different sound pieces which peculiarly stimulate the visitor's reflection on what he/she is seeing. To that end, they use different strategies: interviews of artists who have a piece on display but are talking about someone else's work, sound fragments of films, songs o advertisements mixed with information on the pieces and their creators...all of which are intended to enrich and promote dialogue with 8 of the artistic proposals of the exhibition.

Ángeles Oliva and Toña Medina started to work with the CA2M on the occasion of 2010 Picnic Sessions featuring their performance "Caben Todos los Ruidos" [All Noises Welcome] and the edition of the tape of 2010 Picnic Sessions " Cassete Mon Amour". They also coordinate the Experimental Radio Lab at Casa Encendida directing the radio programme Cápsula [Capsule] and offering creative radio workshop.

TOURS AND TALKS WITH TEACHERS


Over the course of the year, we will hold tours and talks for the exhibitions held at the CA2M. After a tour of the exhibition, CA2M educators will discuss different methodologies for working on the exhibition with pupils. Teachers will also be given an information pack with details on the exhibition so that they can familiarise themselves with art.
