22:20 H. Picnic-Conference: FELIX PÉREZ HITA A REPRESSED ART
Weaving his own videos with others extracted from different sources, Pérez-Hita proposes an informal talk on the contemporary forms of censorship and repression in the Welfare democracies... but he can never stop other subjects from cropping up, since "thinking is losing one's thread". Pérez-Hita will invoke master Agustín García Calvo, and will accompany this session with some of his outspoken songs and light music. Félix Pérez-Hita is a video producer and cultural critic. Together with Andrés Hispano, he writes and produces chapters in the CCCB program Soy Cámara for TVE2. In 2012, together with Arturo Bastón, he created Hilomental, Sesiones videológicas. He is a founder member of the Horitzo.tv association, and of TVlata (Bahía, Brazil).
