The CA2M invites families to join in the activities it offers related to contemporary artistic creation. Learning to create from minimum, precarious or domestic materials can be an illuminating experience, stimulating the way children and adults look at art and helping them to understand the world creatively. The family workshops organised by the CA2M are not related to the exhibitions at the centre but to the central themes running through its entire programme of activities. This year we invite you to learn more about art through a range of proposals and tiny gestures – like the famous butterfly who flaps its wings and changes the world. These workshops are designed to enable adults and children to jointly develop contemporary creative skills in a space where different generations can come together. There are also film screenings, moderated by a CA2M educator, enable families to discover cinematographic practices that are not commonly viewed at commercial cinemas or on television.
