EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION PROJECT WITH RAYUELA SECONDARY SCHOOL
ACADEMIC YEAR 2012 — 2013
In keeping with our line of work that contemplates time as a fundamental factor in the development of educational practice, during the last three years, we have worked alongside Rayuela students in a project based on our research into working with the body and sound complemented by the experiences developed by pupils in the Performing Arts, Music and Dance department of the Rayuela Secondary School.
Thus, this school year, the forth in a row, we continue CA2M activities with 4 grade ESO students and A Level students, paying special attention to approach to their closest surroundings artistic practices that they already know and work with at school (performance, sound experimentation and ideas). This approach will be lead by different artist known within the Madrid context, who will spend a journey at Rayuela to talk and work with students. In turn, We will take an in-depth look at working with the body in a professional artistic project, introducing useful resources to be used as creators, as well as CA2M and other Madrid institution venues usable for the projects.
