BYE BYE NORMAL
STARTING JANUARY 2017
Targeting secondary school students (second cycle of ESO and Bachillerato)
This two-session workshop will say goodbye to certainty and mobilise our positions within the processes of normalisation we are currently immersed in. We will imagine our bodies differently, we will transform ourselves, we are others. The idea is to produce displacements by means of little gestures, with the body, the image, disguise … in order to rethink the identity and gender roles we were assigned with, with the purpose of coming up with new bodily perceptions. Through action we will reveal and experiment with the wealth of all possible subjectivities, thus questioning a specific social model based on heteronormativity.
Bye Bye Normal continues in the line of previous editions of our queer workshops: Painting your Nails, Walking in High Heels, Growing a Moustache and Nobody is Perfect.
1st session: at school, 2 hours duration.
2nd session: at CA2M, 11:00 — 13:30.
Max 30 students.
